Pi Day, My Way

Consider this a mere placeholder.  Suffice it to say that I did bake this apple galette today in honor of pi day, which is being hosted by both the fabulous Alanna of Kitchen Parade and A Veggie Venture and  the delightful Krysta of EvilChefMom. 

We haven't eaten it yet, but I'll come back and fill in this post with some details, and hopefully a recipe.

Ooh, I celebrated Pi Day the way us non-bakers do it best- by ordering pie somewhere :)

I've only baked just a few pies, but I like the way you laid out the apples! Plus, the thick crust is a nice change. I bet it tastes like a cookie! :)
